Pride In Music is a charitable collective working to create a cross-industry network for the LGBTQ+ community and allies working within British Music, providing a rich and varied community for networking, peer mentoring, social engagement, access to the industry for underprivileged youth and education within all areas of the workplace.

For the nominal fee of £1.50, you can join Pride in Music as a Member, this will allow you to vote at our Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and help drive our trustee board. Members vote for our trustees, so you can have a direct say in choosing the people who steer what we do. There’ll also be opportunities to become a trustee yourself.

Pride in Music is current governed by three co-founders and a trustee committee who define our mission statement, goals and focus for each year.

Why Become a Member?!

Our members help support our mission! As a member, you can get involved in shaping everything we do. This includes taking part in surveys, focus groups, our Pride events and Socials, campaigns and voting at our AGM. Everyone is welcome at each AGM, and you have a right to vote on any propositions, goals, issues & elections that take place during your membership of Pride in Music.

We’ll also keep you up to date on everything we do and welcome any and all suggestions on how we can get involved in your local community and with developing artists.
