Ones To Watch – Arlo Parks

Arlo is a 19 year old poet/singer from London. In her words, she spent most of school feeling like that black kid who couldn’t dance for shit, listening to too much emo music and crushing on some girl in her Spanish class. Her songs are confessional and tender, mainly inspired by Portishead and Earl Sweatshirt.

It’s our last ‘Ones to Watch’ of April and this week we’re thrilled to introduce the awesome Arlo Parks.

Ones To Watch – Benedict Cork

The Amazing Benedict Cork takes pride of place in our ‘Ones To Watch’ this Wednesday with the incredible ‘Fear of Lonely’.

Benedict released his first EP ‘Piano Tapes’ over the summer of 2018, a completely live performance of five tracks recorded at Red Gate Recorders in LA, which garnered support from Elton John who called lead track ‘Ghost’ ‘Sensational’ and Benedict’s name to look out for’.

It’s time for another ‘Ones To Watch’ Wednesday and this time we’d love to share ‘Waste of Time’ by Natty Paynter!

Natty, a singer-songwriter from Cardiff, started posting covers to YouTube where she gandered thousands of views and built up global recognition. As she grew in popularity, she progressed with her original music and started writing from her own and others’ perspectives.

Ones to Watch – Andrea Di Giovanni

It’s ‘Ones to Watch’ Wednesday, and who better to start with than the awesome Andrea Di Giovanni!

This contemporary pop artist started their journey at 19 when they moved to London and enrolled at the British Institute of Modern Music. They became a huge fan of androgyny-style as a concept and have adapted this to fit with their own definition combining elegance yet edgy, to adapt to their personal vision of ‘Andrea’ as an act.
